Meet Your Macbook Workshops for 6th Grade Parents and Students

The 2012-2013 school year is quickly approaching! For incoming 6th graders, this means you’ll soon be receiving your District-issued MacBook laptop computer during 6th grade orientation on Monday, August 27.

Parents and students are invited to join us for an informational workshop to meet your new Macbook. We’ll explain the basics of using a Mac, tour some of the software students will be using, share tips for proper care and cleaning, choosing a home filtering option, setting up a printer and review District policies for using school technology. Parents are encouraged to attend one of the three sessions. Bring your 6th grader and learn together!

The workshops will take place on the following dates (choose 1):
Tuesday, September 4
Wednesday, September 12
Thursday, September 20
