Many different instruments (surveys; classroom observations; student grades; focus groups with teachers, students, principals and parents) are used to collect data to assess and evaluate TL2014. Data will be regularly analyzed to determine the effectiveness of implementation and progress toward the goals of TL2014. Reports are shared regularly with the school board and community summarizing the progress of the initiative. The TL2014.org web site will also serve as a tool to track incremental progress of the initiative. It is expected to take three years – through 2014 – to fully realize the goals of the initiative.
