Mrs. Sugra’s 1st Grade Class – Animal Riddles

by Randy Ziegenfuss

animalriddlesThis project came about because in the Storytown Reading Program the students learn about riddles. In science they learn about living things. So we put them together!

For this project, students chose an animal and researched four important facts about the animal.  In art class the students then created a mask of their animal.  Finally, each student recorded his/her facts using Photo Booth on the laptop computers.

To assemble the project, students uploaded each video into the Keynote presentation.  They changed the background color, font size, font color and  font style, and added a picture of their animal as an answer to their riddle.  On the second slide with the answer, they recorded their voices using QuickTime and inserted the recording into Keynote.

Enjoy!
