WSE Curriculum and Technology Night

by Randy Ziegenfuss

Mrs. Lynn Nestor’s first grade class used Flip video cameras to record each other’s animal reports.  The students worked together to operate the cameras and record their speeches.  They also created visual aids to serve as the background.

Mrs. Susan Knight’s third grade class used Photo Booth to record their food nutrition projects.  First, they created Wordles to serve as the background.  The class then wrote scripts to educate each other about different food groups and nutrition.

Mr. Chris Adam’s fifth grade class used Keynote to record and symbolize poetry.  The students selected their favorite poem to read and found pictures to symbolize the poem as they recited it.

Thanks to our computer technician, Mr. Matt Ritter and our Instructional Coach, Mrs. Jane Brennan, for working with the teachers and students to create such great projects!
